Project Manager I

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with senior project management and engineering teams.
• Coverage of project planning and coordination tasks such as coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support the management and coordination of construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling.
• Affirmative support for monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets and providing regular updates to senior project management staff.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Prepare and distribute reports to senior project management and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
• Affirmative support for tracking project expenses, costs, and variances against budgeted amounts.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively with project management and stakeholders to address project issues, concerns, and changes in a timely manner.
• Affirmative support for facilitating regular project meetings and conference calls to ensure alignment and coordination among project teams.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and work with senior project management to develop mitigation strategies.
• Affirmative support for assisting in resolving project-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and professional manner to minimize project delays and disruptions.
• Affirmative support for implementing corrective actions and follow-up measures to address project issues and prevent reoccurrence.
