Project Manager I

About the role

Mobile Communications America (MCA) is seeking an experienced Project Manager I in the Indianapolis, IN area to support our fast-growing Security division. MCA is a Military Friendly Employer with over 250 veterans on board. Responsibilities

• Plan and manage MCA jobs.
• Obtain necessary resources, plan, and schedule work.
• Oversee Planner Board management.
• Place job "placeholders" on the Planner Board without technician assignments.
• Submit procurement requests and coordinate procurement and delivery.
• Complete project closeout documentation and update systems accordingly.
• Manage job-related communications.
• Conduct kickoff calls and coordinate scheduling with customers.
• Submit billing requests.
• Forecast job scheduling with a four-week lookahead based on Promise Dates.
• Create NCCO quotes and submit them through NetSuite for approval (DOA).
• Adhere to NCCO SOP guidelines for MCA jobs.
• Manage projects and prioritize for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor the progress of projects.
• Offer solutions to resolve basic project issues with limited guidance.
• Manage project activities against schedule/milestones, effectively.
• Develop reports for management review.
• Rely on extensive judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Communicate and collaborate well with other teams and customers.
• Serve as a mentor to other Project Managers.
• Support the improvement of processes/procedures to drive project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects and teams.
• Experience with ERP systems and developing reports for management review.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
