Project Manager I

Responsibilities

• Affirms and administers the project safety plan
• Supports project controls and procedures, and manages risk mitigation processes
• Manages potential change items and participates in project financial forecasts
• Develops and manages a project-specific quality plan
• Develops and manages a project closeout plan
• Directs and supervises project administration, superintendents, and engineers
• Supports subcontracting strategy and ensures scope integrity
• Enforces and implements contracts, develops risk mitigation plans, and prepares contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
• Supports insurance enrollment and compliance tracking
• Supports project estimate development, design coordination, and GMPP preparation
• Updates monthly schedules and conducts analyses
• Supports constructability and coordination reviews
• Develops a local market area understanding for networking strategies
• Trains direct reports on processes and procedures
• Manages workload and performance of direct reports
• Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong technical and communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)
