About the Role

As a CBRE Project Manager, you will provide consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve strategic business objectives. This role is part of the Project Management function and involves managing tenant improvement (TI) and ground-up construction projects from initiation through completion. You must be based in the Houston or Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of project management for singular construction projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare project scope, delivery resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, work plans, schedules, milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the qualification process.
  • Conduct request for proposals (RFPs), complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements, ensuring data integrity and coordination.
  • Direct the project delivery team, providing guidance to achieve goals, objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track project progress, report status and variances, and identify threats to develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share expertise across job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus.
  • Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
