About the role
The Janitorial Project Manager oversees day-to-day operations by ensuring Scope of Work (SOW) is completed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include monitoring progress, tracking performance, addressing issues, collaborating with supervisors, scheduling personnel, reviewing and approving time cards, managing budgets, and working closely with vendors/suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure accurate and timely preparation of payroll records
- Assist in the preparation of employees' performance evaluations
- Train and instruct supervisors and assigned personnel on safety and work-related topics
- Order, issue, and account for equipment and supplies
- Afford assistance in the maintenance, accurate, and timely reporting of the Safety System
- Maintain records and write reports
- Assist in the interview and hiring process
- Initiate and administer employee adverse actions
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer
- Establish and maintain a quality control program according to contract requirements
- Prepare and enforce the green cleaning plan
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled quality control inspections
- Ensure control of quality for equipment and supplies
- Initiate and develop a corrective action plan on customer complaints or inspection deficiencies
- Inspect results, dates, and details of corrected and preventative actions
- Work closely with COTR (Contracting Officer Technical Representative)
- Work closely with QASP (Quality Assurance Surveillance Program) government system
- Ensure files are available to government
- Perform other duties as directed by Corporate Office
Requirements
Knowledge of the AbilityOne Program, Employee Handbook, and CBA if applicable. Must assume full authorization and responsibility for quality performance.
