Project Manager, Heavy Civil Construction

Mid-level opportunity with a well-established, growing heavy civil contractor known for meaningful infrastructure work and long-term career investment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple concurrent projects depending on size and complexity
  • Lead and support a Project Engineer and coordinate with other Project Managers as needed
  • Own project financial management including job tracking, billing, change-order management, and monthly forecasting
  • Work closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to build and maintain project schedules
  • Process RFIs and manage complete, accurate project documentation
  • Assist with estimating and pricing change orders across active projects
  • Maintain strong client and trade-partner relationships throughout the life of each project
  • Support project safety plans and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction
  • DOT project experience required; state DOT experience strongly preferred
  • Heavy concrete or structural concrete construction experience required
  • Ability to build and maintain CPM schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera
  • Strong understanding of budgets, job costing, and project documentation
  • BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required

$100,000 to $130,000 per year
