Responsibilities

  • Manage roadway, highway, bridge, utility, earthwork, grading, paving, or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost controls, schedules, and contract administration.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate with field supervision to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize cost and schedule impacts.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to OSHA standards and safe job sites.
  • Travel to project sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within heavy civil construction.
  • Proven experience managing public infrastructure projects for DOT, municipal, county, or other government agencies is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with construction scheduling software, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Pay

$105,000 – $140,000 per year
