Responsibilities Reporting to a Construction Manager, the responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Project Planning and Execution Understand our client's needs and the scope of the projectEstimate resources needed to complete projectsOversee CPM, 3 Week, and 9 Day schedulesPre-costing activities of workManage the cost report, AR and AP aspect of assigned projects Team Management Manage one or more direct reports Safety Management Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate safety program implementationMonitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure Cal-OSHA complianceImplement and enforce company and client safety policies Additional Responsibilities Other duties as directed by the Construction Manager Requirements Preferred Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil EngineeringMinimum 7-10 years of experience managing civil engineering projects and jobsite safetyAble to read and understand Plans and SpecificationsKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Plan Grid and scheduling software. Ability to learn new programsStrong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels. Capable of negotiating with clientsRequired to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Who Are We Looking For?
