Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within heavy civil construction
- Proven experience managing roadway, highway, bridge, utility, earthwork, grading, paving, or transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration
- Experience managing public infrastructure projects for DOT, municipal, county, or other government agencies is highly preferred
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, quality, and profitability
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Proficiency with construction scheduling software, project management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and field teams
- Experience leading project meetings and coordinating with field supervision to ensure successful project execution
- Ability to identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize cost and schedule impacts
- Thorough understanding of OSHA standards and a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed
Pay
$105,000 - $140,000 per year
