Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction execution on healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Cookordinate subcontractors, field teams, and consultants in active or occupied hospital environments
- Support planning, scheduling, cost control, buyout, billings, and change management
- Participate in owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings as the GC representative
- Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Executives
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control requirements, AHCA regulations, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent construction experience)
- 5–8+ years of construction experience, including direct involvement in healthcare or hospital construction
- Experience working for a general contractor or construction manager
- Working knowledge of AHCA requirements, ICRA standards, and Florida healthcare construction regulations
- Experience managing work in active or occupied healthcare facilities
- Solid understanding of construction schedules, budgets, contracts, and field operations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Self-perform GC experience is preferred
