Project Manager - Healthcare Architecture (Hybrid)

About the role

Taylor Design, a 100% employee-owned architectural firm, is seeking Healthcare Architecture Project Managers for its Sacramento office. This role involves working on award-winning healthcare projects with a team of architects and designers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contracted scope, schedule, and budget of projects from pre-design through construction administration.
• Oversee project teams, assign tasks, and ensure proper completion.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination among clients, subconsultants, and internal team members.
• Define roles and responsibilities, align expectations, and adapt communication as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or equivalent education in an AEC-related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a professional office setting.
• Demonstrated success in leading a team and managing projects, including monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, including the ability to navigate client and agency challenges.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience or knowledge of Health Care and/or Science/Technology a plus.
