Project Manager - Generator/HVAC Maintenance

Responsibilities The Project Manager assumes a leadership role and provides guidance to project staff in the development and analysis of complex schedules on large and design-build projects. Experienced and fully competent in the profession, this individual works independently, and acts as a resource for colleagues. In addition, you will: Lead and promote the MasTec safety culture on site, ensure site safety standards are met or exceeded, and lead the development of Site Safety Specific ProceduresFacilitate the creation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP), including quality assurance (QA) requirements, and lead the QA programCreate and maintain project schedules (plans) and update all stakeholders weeklyWork cooperatively with leadership on business partner selection, procurement, and negotiationsOwn and communicate the change management processLead the setup of large project systems and procedures, including the chart of accounts, cost accounting system, and project directory; Lead management of budget for design consultantsManage and lead internal and external project teams to ensure on-budget and on-schedule deliveryReport and communicate to the external customer(s) and internal management each dayBuild processes and teams required to deliver all project requirementsCoordinate with the Project Construction Lead for timing, execution, and closeout of individual projectsLead weekly meetings with the client and project teamWork with Construction Management and direct them on the overall tasks that need to be completedTrack completion, closeout process, and ensure accurate invoicing of each project once completeApprove timesheets and daily logsEnsure the crew has the correct equipment needed for the projectPerform other duties as required and/or assigned Qualifications About You: Must have 2+ years of Generator experience or 2+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, to be considered2+ years of Project Management experience is requiredStrong Excel skill set, including VLOOKUPs and pivot table creation, is required (And be able to demonstrate it during the hiring process)Safety is a part of your day-to-dayYou have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityYou have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workYou are looking for long-term projectsYou enjoy getting your hands dirty with your teamPossess a High School Diploma or equivalentYou have 3 years of construction project experienceYou have advanced experience with Microsoft Word, and PowerPointIntermediate experience in schedule managementAble to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasksPossess good written and verbal communication skillsYou have precise hand-eye coordinationClarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationshipsAble to identify and distinguish colorsAble to read blueprints accuratelyAble to communicate progress, highlight issues, and provide recommendations to senior leadershipPossess safety training and knowledge of OSHA requirementsAbility to commute to work remotely Telecom construction PM or CM experience is preferredSmartsheet proficiency is preferred Compensation of $80,000-$95,000 annually, depending on the experience.
