Project Manager - FSP Trial Lead - Remote based in the US

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager - FSP Trial Lead - Remote based in the US to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead project delivery for clinical trials, with responsibility for balancing time, cost, and quality across assigned programs. The position will partner closely with customers, secondary project leads, and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and keep work moving toward successful trial outcomes. It is well suited to a candidate who brings strong clinical development knowledge, financial stewardship, and a disciplined approach to risk and issue management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery by managing time, cost, and quality
• Establish and ensure adherence to escalation pathways for communication
• Delineate responsibilities for secondary project leads as needed
• Demonstrate financial stewardship and manage resources against budget
• Manage customer expectations to achieve optimal project delivery
• Drive risk identification and issue resolution at the project level
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.Sc. in a scientific discipline
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in project or trial management
• Strong knowledge of clinical development phases I, II, and III
• Expertise in Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and ICH guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
