Project Manager (Focus on Millwright), Cleveland, TN

About the role

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is looking for a hard-working, dedicated project manager to join the team. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion. Candidates must be safety-orientated and comfortable working in diverse environments.

Essential duties & responsibilities

• Assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams
• Facilitating and troubleshooting the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects
• Providing highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel
• Responding to inquiries about projects
• Chairing various project review and pre-submittal meetings
• Establishing and maintaining liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions
• Assisting in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
• Performing project design for civil engineering projects
• Coordinating schedules of staff and other interested parties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least two years of previous experience in project management
