Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction turnover through closeout.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Lead RFI management, submittal tracking, change order administration, and project documentation.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and profitability reporting.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
- Coordinate project activities across geographically dispersed job sites and travel as needed.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, typically ranging from $2.5M to $5M in value.
- Support successful delivery of secure facilities, executive office buildouts, corporate interiors, conference centers, federal projects, and workplace renovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects independently.
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability management.
- Experience building, updating, and managing construction schedules.
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, subcontractor management, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or comparable construction management software.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience with commercial interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, or secure facility projects preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
