Responsibilities

The Project Manager/Estimator performs the following duties:

  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Manages day-to-day operations and progress of projects.
  • Analyzes drawings to prepare cost, material, and labor estimates.
  • Coordinates technical project development, estimates potential profits, and releases to production.
  • Provides technical expertise with project development for projects new and existing fuel, retail, and commercial facilities.
  • Participates in overall product strategy, research, and development requirements.
  • Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for new projects.
  • Prepares project development objectives and schedules for all phases of the project as well as workforce and equipment requirements.
  • Participate in key sales situations for the project.
  • Maintains communications and contracts to collect and analyze technical, financial, schedule, and sales information.
  • Coordinates price packages with suppliers, owners, designers, and architects and revise price estimates as needed.
  • Reviews and evaluates cost estimates with supervisor prior to submission.
  • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and existing projects.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in a related field/position, specific industry experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and company information.

Pay

$100,000 - $150,000 per year
