Responsibilities
- Providing detailed estimates that incorporate concrete, construction, roadway, and highway operations.
- Managing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project objectives and timelines.
- Creating comprehensive bid summaries, incorporating all project costs and timelines.
- Ensuring all operations comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Implementing and overseeing strict health and safety protocols, ensuring all staff adhere to these standards.
- Utilizing Bid2Win software to streamline the estimating and bidding process.
- Managing all aspects of the project from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in concrete, construction, roadway, and highway operations.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing plant operations.
- Proficiency in creating detailed bid summaries.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Experience with Bid2Win or similar estimating software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed on time and within budget.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
