Project Manager/Estimator

Typical Duties

• Captures and maintains project files including correspondence, requests for information, and timelines.
• Manages the engineering job process, including configuring, designing, and engineering systems.
• Oversees project construction to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, materials, installation techniques, and safety activities.
• Manages material procurement process, selecting and ordering appropriate materials, and monitoring material usage and costs.
• Creates detailed estimates for projects in the bidding process, takingoffs from prints to create lists of needed materials.
• Selects and orders materials and/or services, generating detailed bids using a computer estimating program.
• Generates engineered drawings for design/build projects, incorporating NEC standards for plan approval and review.
