Essential Functions
- Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion
- Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules
- Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out
- Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs
- Maintain production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule
- Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs
- Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects
- Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site
- Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors
- Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction with estimating and finance
- Ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields
- Experience managing federal government contracts preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a federal government background screen
Certifications
- OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire

Compensation
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000/year
Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Working Environment/Physical Demands
Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites
Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are essential job functions
Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods with occasional standing and walking.
