Project Manager (Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a professional with 6-8 years of industry experience in electrical construction and demonstrated technical knowledge applied to previous electrical construction projects. Your project history should include work with New York City and New York State agencies such as DASNY, PANY/NJ, NYC SCA, MTA, DEP, and others.

Proficiency with all basic MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Primavera/Microsoft Project or other Project Management software, as well as Cost Coding software is required.

Responsibilities

• Project evaluation and cost control
• Monitoring project progress using cost coding software, verifying reports against actual field conditions
• Remedying cost overruns
• Timely issuing and tracking of RFPs
• Change order negotiation, tracking, and implementation
• Liaising with the Engineering team to develop project-specific budgets and timelines for completion using project management software
• Liaising with the Engineering team to maintain the project schedule
