Project Manager - Eastern Seaboard / Caribbean

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dredge Project Manager to oversee major marine construction and dredging projects valued at $20M+. This individual will lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, team management, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of large-scale marine construction, dredging, and environmental remediation projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
• Cook with federal, state, and private clients to meet contractual obligations.
• Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks, adapting project strategies as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract negotiations, cost control, and progress reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 10+ years of project management experience in large-scale marine construction, dredging, or environmental projects.
• Experience managing projects greater than $20M in value.
• Willingness to relocate for long-term projects along the Eastern Seaboard and Caribbean.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with federal, state, and private client contracts.
• Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and budgeting processes.
• Strong understanding of environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory standards.
• An engineering or construction management degree is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways as needed for site visits.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement across uneven terrain.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights as necessary for inspections.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain, during site activities.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours, nights, and weekends as project schedules require.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $205,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
