Management Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Title Managers or Project Coordinators, including performance management and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage localization/DDM projects from client order to delivery completion.
  • Establish a solid understanding of specific client specifications and needs.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, focusing on delivering the highest quality assets on time.
  • Liaise with multiple clients and maintain clear communication.
  • Develop project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources, and quality control.
  • Manage, monitor, and update all timelines, setting realistic expectations for day-to-day deliveries.
  • Work with Project Managers to develop order procedures and work plans, see projects through to completion, communicate and follow up with internal departments, and provide outstanding service to clients.
  • Work with the billing team to ensure projects are billed correctly and on time to clients.
  • Perform order entries based on client requests and ensure final deliveries are within the expected timeframe.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in translation, IT, localization, digital media, or production/post-production project management.

Communication Skills

  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of another language is highly desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully within a cross-cultural business setting.
  • Advanced business writing skills, excellent grammar, and punctuation.
  • Comfortable leading production calls, ensuring accurate minute-taking and action item tracking.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and act as needed for project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Technical Qualifications

Essential
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use, analyze, and visualize existing and new data sources to create cost estimates, suggest workflow enhancements, and present challenges to the status quo to better serve client needs and enhance the company's offerings.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be tech-savvy and proficient in most common communication, project management, and data analysis tools and software in the field.
Preferred
  • Working knowledge of professional subtitling software or audio/video editing software.
  • Working knowledge of major AV, marketing, and localized asset types, file formats, and delivery specs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, media, business administration, translation, linguistics, or a related field.
