Project Manager (Design-Build Construction)

A Design-Build General Contractor, we are seeking a self-motivated team player, to join us as a Project Manager.

About the role

A General Contractor with over 100 years experience in southeast Wisconsin, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results across a variety of sectors including healthcare, retail, education, and municipal facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution for commercial builds such as medical offices, retail spaces, and sports facilities.
• Manage relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and building codes.
• Provide regular updates and transparent communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct value engineering and bid analysis to optimize project outcomes.
• Administer contracts and manage project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling tools, and budgeting practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
