This role is a key member of the Operations Team in the Nordstrom Design and Construction group, supporting the purchase and installation of fixtures, furniture, and equipment for new construction and remodels of Nordstrom Stores, Rack Stores, Distribution Centers, and Offices.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and track purchase orders across project types including new store openings, remodels, rollouts, and special projects — from requisition through delivery and payment reconciliation
  • Coordinate delivery and installation schedules with Project Managers, logistic vendors, suppliers, store leadership, and contractors to support on-time, accurate execution
  • Communicate order and shipping details to vendors, merchants, business units, and stores, escalating issues and providing timely status updates
  • Support fixture installations by verifying accurate delivery, assisting with punch list completion, and overseeing vendors, trucking partners, and temporary workers on site
  • Build and maintain reports and tracking tools that support purchasing activity, vendor performance, and installation progress across projects
  • Contribute positively to the overall daily functioning of the team and cross train employees in department practices as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, project coordination, operations, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills; experience with Coupa or Smartsheet (preferred)
  • Experience with purchase order processes including ordering, tracking, and payment reconciliation (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across vendors, contractors, and internal teams
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Operations, or a related field

Pay

Washington: $69,000-$115,500 Annually
