Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with customer representatives.
- Performing site surveys.
- Creating price quotes.
- Writing installation specifications.
- Detailing material requirements.
- Performing material and labor cost analysis.
- Providing engineering field support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant DC power plant engineering experience in a Central Office environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Central office DC power plant engineering experience including:
- Proficient with various original equipment manufacturers (Client, Eltek, etc).
- Proficient with various battery types (flooded, VRLA, etc).
- Proficient with customer standards particularly Telecommunication and Telecommunication.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with our customer.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to travel regionally.
- Proficient with customer databases (PowerPro, AMPEERS, GeoLink, etc): Rectifiers, Controllers, Inverters, Converters, Batteries, Secondary distribution to BDFB/BDCB.
