Key Job Functions
- Oversee and manage assigned projects from inception to completion, including construction projects, tenant improvements, organizational systems, process improvements, facilities projects, and other internal initiatives.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage multiple project types simultaneously, including construction and non-construction projects, while maintaining clear priorities, documentation, and communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, track and manage all phases of assigned projects, including construction projects, tenant improvements, organizational systems, process improvements, facilities projects, and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
- Identify and document status updates from stakeholders.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, options, and budgets, utilizing project management software and tools, including Smartsheet.
- Cookordination and communication with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present weekly project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Present daily updates when requested.
- Attend project meetings, including kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. When directed, represent senior leadership.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, close-out documents, project trackers, system documentation, action items, and related project records.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Support the implementation, tracking, and improvement of organizational systems and processes as assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- PMP certification preferred but not required. Equivalent project management experience, particularly in construction or facilities-related environments, will be considered.
- Construction project management experience preferred, including tenant improvements, facilities upgrades, subcontractor coordination, construction schedules, and project documentation.
- Experience managing non-construction projects is also valued, including organizational systems, process improvements, internal initiatives, and other cross-functional project management needs.
- Military background or prior experience working in disciplined, mission-focused environments is valued, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience using project management software and tools.
- General Contracting license preferred, but not required.
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
