About the role

DCCM is seeking a Project Manager for its Construction Management team. This position involves managing project timelines and budgets, communicating project information to clients and stakeholders, developing client relationships, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project timelines and budget
  • Effectively communicate project information to clients, regulators, and key stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with clients; become a trusted advisor
  • Lead effectively in a highly dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Absorb responsibility for the successful delivery of products and services within the department, and high satisfaction and performance of department employees
  • Establish and maintain a strong technical delivery model across all functions in the department that is agile to changing customer requirements
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers. Ensure successful delivery of high-quality products and services to customer on time and on budget
  • Absorb responsibility for the successful delivery of products and services within the department, and high satisfaction and performance of department employees
  • Ensure strong project management acumen throughout the department and contribute to that capability across the contract
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
  • PE license in Texas
  • 5+ years civil engineer experience required
  • Staff management experience
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. design codes and standards
  • Related local experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Project management, critical thinking, and complex data interpretation skills

Qualifications

Proven ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and your team and integrate excellent time management resulting in top performance. Relationship management both externally and internally is a mastered skillset.
