Position Overview

The Project Manager – Construction manages and implements assigned construction and renovation projects from initial planning through project closeout, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with organizational, regulatory and safety requirements.

This role oversees all phases of project development, including pre-construction planning, estimating, budgeting, contract administration, construction coordination and occupancy logistics. The Project Manager – Construction also serves as the primary liaison between end users, contractors, consultants, landlords and internal departments, coordinating project activities and evaluating vendor performance to ensure successful project delivery.

Additionally, the role develops and maintains project standards for space planning, furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes and operational requirements and supports strategic planning initiatives for facility development and renovation projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.

  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Experience: Two years of construction/renovation project development, estimating and management experience when accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Six years of construction/renovation project development, estimating and management experience when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Continuous Physical Demands Include: Lifting Floor to Waist 15 lbs., Lifting Waist Level and Above 10 lbs.
  • Sensory Requirements include: Accurate Near Vision, Accurate Far Vision, Color Discrimination, Accurate Depth Perception, Accurate Hearing
  • Anticipated Occupational Exposure Risks Include the following: Bloodborne Pathogens, Uneven Surfaces or Elevations, Extreme Noise Levels, Dust/Particulate Matter.
