About the role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing diverse construction projects from conception to completion. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the construction process. Your exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, anticipate potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets and financial reporting, providing cost control measures to keep projects on track.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and maintaining clear lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices whenever possible.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of successfully completing projects of various sizes and complexities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in construction practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles in construction is a plus.
