About the role

The Project Manager (PM) role is part of Constructiv's ongoing expansion into the data center construction industry. We seek skilled professionals who are open to exploring roles with us when the time is right.

Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Manage the project process to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with project deliverables and expectations.
  • Team Management: Oversee the project team, coordinate start-up procedures, and organize regular meetings to monitor progress and address issues.
  • Task Management: Lead client interfaces, prepare scopes of work, and oversee construction to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • High Level Competencies: Manage multiple projects, handle complex projects, and strategize for both shell construction and fit-out project types.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of field and project management experience.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated project management skills, understanding of construction techniques, cost estimating, and familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Professional Engineer or Project Management Institute.
  • Specific and extensive expertise in industrial, data center, or healthcare projects.
  • Understanding of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and contract management.

Skills

  • Project management tasks.
  • Construction techniques, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building envelope systems.
  • Cost estimating, including take-offs, square footage estimates, and RS Means assembly of values.
  • Microsoft Project Scheduling, resource loading, and baseline scheduling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Adobe Acrobat/Reader and Timberline experience preferred.

Pay

The annual salary range for this role is $104,100.00 - $156,100.00 USD. Final compensation will be determined by relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Schedule

Travel is required up to 90%, with up to 80% expected for project site meetings, inspections, and client interfacing. The position involves standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and using hands to manipulate objects or controls.
