Construction Project Manager

About the role

Join a fast-growing subcontractor firm with over $25M in active backlog and lead high-visibility interior fit-out projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5–12 commercial interior fit-out projects at once, typically $100K–$1M in value.
• Run full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout to meet quality and timeline goals.
• Coordinate daily with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to keep scope aligned.
• Maintain schedules and budgets by tracking timelines, costs, and progress.
• Manage documentation including RFIs, change orders, and submittals with accuracy and timely communication.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources to ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Lead project meetings, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and next steps.
• Build client relationships by serving as the main point of contact and delivering strong customer service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Bridgewater, NJ. The role is fully onsite.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88 per hour.
