Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of design-build construction projects from conception to completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team, including architects, engineers, and construction workers
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are effectively communicated to the project team
• Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors
• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes, ensuring the successful execution of the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager in the commercial construction industry
• Proven experience managing commercial design-build projects, including industrial, warehouse, cold storage, and office buildings
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles, including concrete and steel construction
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in project management software
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
