Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Executive in all aspects of project execution.
  • Support the Superintendent with coordination and day-to-day project needs.
  • Maintain document control for all project records and correspondence.
  • Manage and oversee technology platforms and project management software.
  • Assist with schedule development, buyout, and pre-construction planning.
  • Aid with procurement and inventory management of materials and services.
  • Generate, process, and maintain project logs including RFIs, submittals, photos, and reports.
  • Prepare, process, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Prepare, process, and distribute Submittals.
  • Assist with project cost management, including budget tracking and reporting.
  • Support change management processes, including documentation and tracking.
  • Assist with material deliveries and verify timing, quantities, and delivery methods.
  • Generate, distribute, and archive meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Assist with subcontractor meetings, OAC meetings, and pre-installation meetings.
  • Support quality control and quality management efforts throughout construction.
  • Manage and execute punch-out and project closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Project Engineer with on-site exposure, strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed structures (multi-family, hospitality, student housing, senior living).
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida, typically within a 3-hour radius of Atlanta.
