Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Cookordinate and supervise the construction process to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project work plans and schedules.
  • Utilize Procore Construction Management software to manage project resources, costs, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project risks, including mitigation plans and strategies.
  • Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during construction.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate with the project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and material submittals.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the project are followed through to completion which includes clients' satisfaction, scheduling, and budgeting.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a project management role within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven experience with industrial construction, self-storage projects, and concrete work.
  • Proficiency in using Procore Construction Management software.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and planning.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
  • A valid driver’s license is required as travel to construction sites is a key part of the job.
