This role is essential in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise in the surface treatment business. It covers the strategic and operational responsibility for revenue development in the area of responsibility and the identification of customer requirements/specifications with close cooperation with QA and, if needed, R&D. The development of a market roadmap including pricing strategy is part of the role, as well as the negotiation of contracts and prices ensuring compliance with agreements.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the field of Wire Drawing Materials and Lubricants
- Offer technical support and guidance to customers, helping them understand the benefits and applications of our products
- Support of sales through targeted customer visits, sales tools, and technical/commercial consulting
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems
- Regional responsibility with a high priority targeting the areas of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and Florida
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field of advantage
- Willingness to travel within district (50-60%). Within the US or other as needed.
- Proven work experience in technical sales, preferably in the Wire Drawing industry
- Strong understanding of surface treatment technologies and their applications in the Wire Drawing Industry
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
