Responsibilities

  • Project management of aviation design projects for commercial service and general aviation airports
  • Drafting project specifications and contract documents
  • Construction administration and oversight for aviation clients
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multidisciplinary design engineers and technicians
  • Coordinate with subconsultants
  • Design projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and aviation specialty programs
  • Provide outstanding client service

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • 6+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experience
  • Responsive and consistent in communications
  • Proficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programs
  • Travel will be required with occasional overnight stays

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience working with a multi-disciplined team while overseeing project execution
  • Experience in managing construction projects at airports
  • Licensed pilot or other aviation-related experience

Pay

Projected Compensation Range: $108,600 to $165,800 (salary range considers differences in incentive compensation commensurate with qualifications, experience, and performance)

About the Role

Garver’s Denver office is looking for a Project Manager to join our diverse, skilled team. Aviation project managers are responsible for development of infrastructure supporting airports including site design, grading, drainage, utilities, sanitary sewer, roadway, electrical, and pavement design with emphasis on critical airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiway and aprons. Our aviation project managers oversee these projects from inception, through design, bidding, construction, all the way to closeout.
