Project Manager
About the role
The Information Services (IS) Project Manager manages visible, high-impact technology projects that support the firm’s legal and business operations. This role is well suited for a project leader who can bring structure, judgment, and momentum to complex initiatives involving cross-functional teams, stakeholders at multiple levels, vendors, and evolving business needs.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develops an understanding of stakeholder business processes, pain points, and needs; supports business analysis activities, including requirements and use case definition, solution evaluation, and problem identification and resolution.
- Defines, estimates, and documents the scope of assigned technology projects in partnership with multi-functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Develops practical project plans that translate approved business needs into deliverables, timelines, budget considerations, resource needs, roles, dependencies, testing, and implementation activities.
- Manages project execution using project management best practices; tracks progress against schedule, budget, resource, scope, and quality expectations; coordinates assigned resources; and communicates material variances or constraints.
- Identifies, escalates, and helps resolve action items, issues, risks, and decisions that could affect delivery, business continuity, or stakeholder commitments.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned projects; prepares clear status materials for IS management and key stakeholders; leads project status, checkpoint, and deliverable review meetings; and manages stakeholder expectations through timely communication and escalation.
- Manages assigned AI and emerging-technology projects, coordinating execution across Business Relationship Managers, stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
- Incorporates data security, privacy, and governance requirements into project planning and execution in coordination with IS leadership and firm policies.
- Buils and maintains effective working relationships with project team members, internal stakeholders, stakeholders at multiple levels, vendors, contractors, and other partners to support accountability, collaboration, and successful delivery.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented (“can-do”) approach. Effectively supports internal departments, external clients, and vendors through clear, courteous communication via electronic correspondence, telephone, and in-person interactions.

- Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or completion of a certified project management program preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of IT project management experience in medium to complex project environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects in a fast-paced environment where resources are often shared across projects.
- Experience supporting or delivering projects involving emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, is a plus.

- The hiring range for this position is $141,360 - 176,700 annually, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications and internal equity.
