Project Manager
Job Summary
Join our team at Texas Scenic Company as a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in fulfilling projects that meet client and stakeholder objectives. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent Project Management experience in manufacturing or machinery installation, with 3+ years of experience in similar environments. Previous experience in theatre rigging and installation or entertainment production industries is a plus.
Responsibilities
Perform project management duties such as project organization, budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing/production functions.
Lead projects through the entire planning, design, manufacturing, and installation process, including travel to work sites.
Interact professionally with designers, engineers, production personnel, contractors, and customers.
Facilitate project team efforts and take responsibility for technical aspects of mechanical designs.
Manage multiple project schedules and contracts, coordinating with engineering, operations, and subcontractors.
Coordinate drawing and production schedules, release packing lists, and file all project documentation.
Handle RFI’s, change orders, and subcontractor/vendor coordination.
Conduct risk analysis and post-mortem reviews for future projects.
Requirements
Familiarity with engineering principals and codes governing machinery and structures.
Experience in theatre rigging and installation or entertainment production industries is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Project Management experience in manufacturing or machinery installation.
3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades, manufacturing, or machinery installation.
Demonstrated project management capability and readiness to independently lead projects within the organization.
