PROJECT MANAGER

Job Requirements/Required Skills

• Supports the J2 Knowledge Management team in identifying requirements and project goals.
• Determines the scope of projects using project management tools and written/oral communication.
• Relays project progress and status to team members, leadership, and KM customers.
• Plans and documents project tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to project scope.
• Identifies and relays issues with projects to leadership.
• Prioritizes projects and tasks.
• Supports KM customers through current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and documenting outcomes.
• Aids in documenting projects, applications, and websites to clarify processes, workflows, and design elements.
• Supports integration of MS Office products with MS SharePoint.

Requirements

• Three (3) or more years’ experience with project management tools and techniques, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience with computer-based scheduling tools (e.g., OnePager).
• Three (3) or more years’ experience working with DoD customers and basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience producing deliverables and milestones within government timelines.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience with fundamental project management skills, as described in the PMBOK Guide – Seventh Edition (PMP desirable).
• Three (3) or more years’ experience coordinating with multiple organizations and presenting project information to senior leaders.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience writing project requirement statements.
