About the role
This role serves as a key operational and technical resource across various teams and stakeholders to improve process performance, reduce waste, and strengthen overall print production execution.
Responsibilities
- Project manage and operational support, including defining, documenting, and managing smaller-scale projects
- Continuous improvement, quality, and rework initiatives, including supporting Tier 1 Boards and participating in quality and continuous improvement events
- Technical systems and pressroom process support, including SAP, Autocount, and Central Batch operations
- Vendor management, safety, and leadership support, including building vendor relationships and promoting a safe work environment
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
- 2-4 years of related experience in pressroom, print production, or operations coordination
- Prior experience with SAP, Autocount, or similar production management systems preferred
- Knowledge of printing processes and technologies, project management, and scheduling software
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate professionally with internal team members and external vendors
- Proficiency in SAP transactions relevant to claims and inventory management
- Familiarity with Autocount systems, including database management and configuration
- Experience with densitometers and calibration procedures
