About the role
This is a 12-month remote contract position for a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. The Project Manager will oversee construction scheduling using Primavera P6, integrate vendor schedules, ensure compliance, and maintain project timelines and capital forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction schedules with Primavera P6
- Integrate vendor schedules into the master schedule
- Monitor schedule adherence and report noncompliance
- Hold vendors accountable to committed delivery dates
- Maintain scheduling dashboards and performance metrics
- Identify vendor performance issues and address them
- Communicate scheduling impacts to internal partners
- Support design-build partnerships to keep projects on track
- Ensure capital forecasts remain accurate
Requirements
- Extensive Primavera P6 experience
- Construction scheduling experience (non-negotiable)
- SAP experience
- Excel reporting capabilities
- Business Objects reporting experience
- Experience integrating and managing large project schedules
- Ability to hold vendors accountable to schedule commitments
- Minimum of five years of related experience

$61/hr W2 (based on skill set)
