About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction phase of commercial construction projects, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and the Director of Construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of managers and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
• Leads an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Outlines project tasks and delegates accordingly.
• Conducts cost analysis and estimates expected project costs.
• Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management and provides recommendations for mitigation, including project termination if appropriate.
• Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
• Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
• Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
• A minimum of three (3) years of preconstruction phase management experience or five (5) years of experience in construction management.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications.

Pay

$100,000–$115,000 yearly salary.
