Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management and operational implementation of all client-funded projects to ensure they meet the client’s strategic objectives.
• Manage operational and business workflows and tasks in support of the Project Sustainability Plan.
• Develop and implement system and business processes needed to execute client-funded projects.
• Oversee all operations, including anticipating operational risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
• Effectively manage client priorities and escalate issues and key decision points to leadership as needed.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement and collaboration with CMS, state agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience working in government-funded programs such as Medicaid or other public-sector healthcare programs.
• Experience in project management, business analytics, and organizational readiness.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and work across multiple agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MPH, MPA, or related field).
• Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of the Medicaid Program.
• Experience supporting healthcare transformation or grant-funded initiatives.
