Responsibilities
- Lead the project management and operational implementation of all client-funded projects to ensure they meet the client’s strategic objectives.
- Manage operational and business workflows and tasks in support of the Project Sustainability Plan.
- Develop and implement system and business processes needed to execute client-funded projects.
- Oversee all operations, including anticipating operational risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
- Effectively manage client priorities and escalate issues and key decision points to leadership as needed.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement and collaboration with CMS, state agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience working in government-funded programs such as Medicaid or other public-sector healthcare programs.
- Experience in project management, business analytics, and organizational readiness.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and work across multiple agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MPH, MPA, or related field).
- Project Management Certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, and/or Lean Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of the Medicaid Program.
- Experience supporting healthcare transformation or grant-funded initiatives.
Duration: 5 years to start.
