About the role
DBE, a division of United Utility Services (UUS), is seeking a full-time Project Manager. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in underground utilities.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Promote best practices in project management
- Mentor team members to enhance overall project delivery
- Provide overall management of projects from estimating to construction closeout
- Manage bidding, procurement, project controls, constructability reviews, material management, pre-construction, construction management, financial tracking and budgeting, progress meetings, final walk-throughs, and final closeout
- Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs
- Direct and coordinate activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope and/or a combination of smaller projects
- Report regularly on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring office support
- Ability and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings located within the Southeast, including occasional overnight stays due to distance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Document control and handling, coordination of project requirements between the field, office, and municipalities
- Relate to daily activities, whereabouts and progress of multiple construction crews and their projects
- Ability and willingness to travel to Florida on a bi-weekly basis, with occasional additional travel as business needs require
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in underground utilities
- Versatile employee with a well-rounded understanding of both office and field operations
- Promote open and continuous communication between various customers, departments, and personnel
- Ability and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings located within the Southeast, including occasional overnight stays due to distance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

Flexible schedule to accommodate project needs, with occasional overnight stays due to distance.
