About the role
Manages all aspects of small to medium complex projects from inception to conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Manages overall project execution.
- Manages complete project oversight.
- Covers project kick-offs.
- Coordinates, manages, and directs project kick-offs.
- Reviews contracts.
- Coordinates the reviews and comments on the scope of work, contract, specifications, and supplementary client documentation.
- Generates and obtains management approval of an execution plan.
- Maintains and updates project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues that arise during the project life cycle.
- Safeguards and/or documents and other client deliverables are submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinates between internal resources, clients, vendors, sub-contractors, contractors, and technicians throughout execution.
- Directs fabrication, installation, and start-up issues throughout execution.
- Coordinates and directs in-progress inspections at fabrication shop.
- Calculates building costs to generate change orders and provides backup documentation.
- Creates and maintains a detailed cash flow and man-hours usage to ensure the project stays on budget.
- Creates reports and projections for various levels within the organization.
- Completes project closeout (i.e., punch list items, client final acceptance, etc.).
- Manages warranty requests by generating and executing a corrective action plan.
- Manages overall project leadership and decision-making (through proper channels).
- Manages QF-8.2.3.5 Contract Handover Checklist.
- Manages all NPI gate-1 requirements are fully satisfied.
- Attends/participates in NPI gate reviews.
- Manages and coordinates customer communication.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.
Requirements
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of international experience in project and / or construction management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning.
- Master’s degree in construction, engineering, or management related discipline preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in the power, oil & gas, data center and / or district energy industries preferred.
- Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent preferred.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
