Project Manager

About the Role

Steampunk is seeking a creative and hands-on Project Manager to deliver innovative technology solutions. This role involves team leadership for the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery, providing Agile Project Management and Scrum Master support, coordinating with product owners and stakeholders on prioritizing the backlog, creating release schedules and roadmaps based on assessment recommendations, and establishing technical practices and release management standards that align with the customer's process. This individual will ensure the team is following and effective at Agile scrum processes while driving high client satisfaction.

Contributions

You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. Working with our team's Technical Lead, you will ensure that any designs align with our client's objectives. One of your key functions is to learn how things worked in the past, present data about how things are now, and show how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work for any U.S. employee and ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
• 4+ years managing IT projects using agile methodologies and approaches
• 4+ years experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies
• 4+ years hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
• Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
• Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach
• Ability to obtain DOD clearance

Preferred

• PMP or PMI CAPM preferred
• Certified Scrum Master
• DOD Tier 3 clearance preferred

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. Annual salary is just one aspect of Steampunk's total compensation package for employees.
