About the role
Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a modernization initiative within the FDA’s Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management and oversight across multiple vendors and FDA stakeholders
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
- Career Agile planning and execution activities, including PI planning, sprint planning, release management, and cross-vendor alignment
- Manage technical integration efforts across AI/ML platforms, data migration, user interfaces, data sources, and existing FDA systems
- Facilitate program governance, executive reporting, stakeholder communications, and leadership briefings
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and resource conflicts through resolution and closure
- Career testing, quality assurance, defect remediation, and deliverable review and acceptance activities across vendor teams
- Ensure compliance with FDA policies, EPLC and CPIC requirements, security/privacy standards, and FedRAMP regulations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Minimum 5 years managing complex, multi-vendor IT Programs
- Demonstrated Agile/Scrum methodologies experience
- Experience with Earned-Value Management (EVM)
- Proficiency with Program Management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, etc.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
Desired Skills
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML platform implementations
- Experience with FDA of Federal Government programs preferred
- Experience with FedRAMP and federal security requirements preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) a plus
Additional Information
- Clearance: Must have current US work authorization and be able to qualify for / pass a Public Trust clearance
- Work Environment: Hybrid (primarily remote, with periodic visits/meeting in White Oak, MD)
- This is a full-time, W2 position.
