Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Managing project implementation including schedule, budgets, quality and safety.
- Resource planning and management - including managing company resources assigned to the project as well as third party vendors, designers, fabricators and contractors.
- Direct the efforts of the full engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction management, and commissioning team in creating the execution plans, organization, and contracts needed to deliver the project within the stated cost and schedule.
- Continue to build a positive relationship with highly important & strategic clients who have significant future work in the area.
- Preparing and issuing Progress Reports and ensuring timely payments.
- Making sure compliance with various regulatory statues as well as compliance with applicable Shimmick policies and procedures.
- Project stakeholder management and interface.
- Creation and implementation of Project Updates – Job Status Reports and Quarterly EAC Reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field + 2 years of relevant project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and risk mitigation.
Additional Information
This position is based in Northern California. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position does not include sponsorship for a United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between $115,000 - $140,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
