Job Responsibilities
- In support of the government program office, the Project Manager is principally responsible for exceptional accomplishment of assigned Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) including all aspects of project execution (cost, schedule, performance, and technical requirements).
- The PM is the program’s “face-to-the-customer,” responding to direction, negotiating project issues, team management, integration management, and successful completion of all project activities.
- Leads a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists responsible for overall system operational availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's and ten (10) years or more of related experience; master's and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
- Five (5) years managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for mission-critical applications.
- Experience delivering multiple simultaneous modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with customers to fully understand operational requirements; and in translating those requirements into project plans and performance measures.
- Familiarity with mission-critical, data network operations, maintenance, and sustainment.
