About the Role
The Project Manager plans and coordinates fire alarm projects, serving as the primary contact with contractors and clients.
Responsibilities
- Review shop drawings, specifications, and standards to determine installation methods.
- Generate change order proposals and track project changes.
- Estimate labor needs, prepare schedules, and manage materials and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, ensure alignment with budgets, and document job records.
- Coordinate with AHJs, contractors, owners, and design professionals on project updates.
- Conduct weekly project reviews and facilitate closeout documents, including O&Ms and as-built drawings.
- Ensure safety standards are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical training; NICET certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience with project leadership.
- Mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills in English and valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
- Ability to sit, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.
- Personal protective equipment may be required.
